India – Leg 3: A Busy Week Of Mentoring In Delhi
The third and final leg of the trip was the main reason I had traveled to India: Arriving back to Delhi on October 25th, I joined a team of twelve teachers for what would be one of the most hectic, and rewarding teaching (and learning) experiences for me to date.
We were a mix of Australian, English, and Canadian teachers, selected by Impact Teachers in the UK, to take part in a volunteer program called Beyond Education Needs (B.E.N). This program primary aim is to help improve the standard of education in India and Uganda by sharing teaching techniques with local teachers.
