Next month, I plan on volunteering some time as part of my “Baz’s Impact” side challenge: aiming to support at least one charitable cause per month.
However, there are so many worthwhile and interesting options that I can’t decide who would be the best group to hang out with. Tell me: What Should Baz Do? 🙂

Giving: The Best Way To Reward Yourself
When I was a young fella, I remember mum telling us that American Indians believed people should GIVE to others on their birthdays, rather than receiving gifts. I’m not certain whether this is true; whether she made this up to teach us a lesson about greed and craving; or, perhaps she just forgot presents one year and the story was a cover-up which stuck.
Whether it was made up or not, I think these Native Americans she spoke of were onto something!
A big part of What Should Baz Do is about trying to leave a positive impact on the world. It’s a very rewarding feeling when I find myself in a position to help someone else out – And that doesn’t necessarily mean donating money. My pockets aren’t always full, but there are other things more valuable than money: helping someone with your time, education, or a helping hand can make a greater difference and be more mutually rewarding.
